Mary Daireen Brownlee passed away on November 4th, 2011, at Chilliwack General Hospital at the age of 87 years. Mary was born on April 22nd, 1924 in Lacombe, Alberta. She is survived by her three daughters, Barbara (Ken) Towson, Pamela Dube, Christine Brownlee and son Bruce (Lorraine) Brownlee, and brother Stanley Stewart.
Eight grandchildren, Erin, Miranda, Scott, Colette, Melody, Gerlinda, David and Stephanie. Four great-grandchildren Noah, Tobias, Arwin and Kendal. Mary was predeceased by her parents Millicent and Peter Stewart. First husband Anthony Dube and second husband, William ‘Bill’ Brownlee and sister Joyce (Rudy) Ungaro.
No funeral by request. A small family gathering will be held in her honour, on Saturday, November 12th from 1-3 pm, at The Waverly Seniors Village, Chilliwack, BC. She will be missed by all who knew her.
