On September 11, 2006, Marvin was suddenly taken to his eternal home to be with his Heavenly Father.
Marv was loved by all who knew him. He was loving, generous, unselfish and caring. He loved the Lord, sports, outdoor activities and managing the dairy farm. Marv had just recently been on a mission trip to China and was looking forward to becoming a Cadet Church Counsellor.
Marv is survived by his parents Charlie & Alice, his sister Trudy (Bill) Driesen & his brother Steve (Christine), nieces and nephews, Brad, Clay, Brianne & Chelsea Driesen, Tim & Ben Elgersma, aunts, uncles and many others relatives and friends.
Memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday September 16 at First Christian Reformed Church, 9800 McNaught Rd Chwk. Marv’s family invites all to the church Friday evening for a time of visitation and sharing from 7:00 to 8 pm. If desired, memorial donations in lieu of flowers to: The Bible League (Bibles for China).
