Marshall Currie passed away in Chilliwack on March 3, 2004 at the age of 83 years.
Marshall was born and raised in Chilliwack and lived here his entire life. He worked for many years for Dairyland Milk Producers in sardis and retired in 1982. He was a veteran of the 1st Bn Westminster Regiment and served active duty overseas during the Second World War.
Private cremation, Valley Crematorium, Chilliwack.
He is survived by his son Graham (Linda) of North Vancouver; grandchildren, Brendan and Erin; brother Delmer (Helen) Currie of Abbotsford; and sister Dauna (Fred) Neveaux of Victoria.
He was predeceased by his wife Phyllis “Phyl’’ in 1997; son Gerald Currie in 1981; parents, Earl Currie in 1982 and Merle Currie in 1997; and brother Glenn Currie.
Should family and friends so desire, donations in his memory may be made to the Arthritis Society of B.C. and Yukon Division.
