Marjorie Jasman passed away on Friday, November 8, 2002, at Chilliwack General Hospital, at the age of 78 years. She is survived by her son Claude of Greendale, and niece Linda Hartley of Chilliwack. She was predeceased by her husband, William ‘Bill’ Jasman on November 3, 2002; and her brother, Cecil ‘Jack’ Hartley on January 8, 2000. Marjorie was born October 1, 1924 in England, and shortly after came to Canada with her parents. They settled first in Burns Lake and later in Surrey, where Marjorie spent most of her teen and adult years. She and Bill were married for 52 years, eventually retiring to Cultus Lake. They enjoyed many adventures together in the Cariboo. No service at Marjorie’s request.
