BECK Marjorie, Rosamund, Ann. Marjorie Rosamund Ann (Sneddon) Beck passed away in the comfort of her home with her family at her side on Wednesday, July 31, 2013. Marjorie was born in Whitehorse, Yukon on September 18, 1950 and moved to Cultus Lake, BC where she lived with family till she married the love of her life, Jim on May 14,1971. For 41 years they enjoyed love, laughter, golfing and traveling together. Marjorie was a long time volunteer for the YMCA, Chilliwack Chiefs & Chilliwack Bruins. She started her banking career in 1973 at The Permanent and she retired in September 2010 from TD Canada Trust. Marjorie leaves a loving legacy to her husband Jim. Her love and support are passed on to her son Clayton (Joanne) Beck and daughter RaeAnn (Stephen) Stewart, brother George (Patricia) Sneddon and cousin Connie Adams. Marjorie was sadly predeceased by her parents, Marjorie & George Sneddon. Her strength and spirit will carry on in her pride and joy, her granddaughters Cassidy, Paige, Mackenzie and Marrissa. A special thank you to Dr. Forrest, VGH Leukemia and Bone Marrow and the Ambulatory Care at Chilliwack General. A huge thank you to Dr. Heather Leyen for her amazing treatment and kindness to Marjorie and her family. A celebration of life will be held at Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave, Chilliwack at 2pm on Saturday, August 10, 2013. In lieu of flowers, Marjorie requested a memorial bench at a nearby park.
