Marion Eleanor McKee (nee Ector) passed away peacefully in her sleep and surrounded by her four children on October 12, 2007 at The Eden Care Home, Chilliwack British Columbia at the age of 91.
Marion is survived by her loving family: son Jim (Merle) McKee; daughters Patricia (Victor) Miller, Maureen Bustin, and Gail Hamilton; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; her sister Doreen Jamieson; and many nieces. She was sadly predeceased by her husband Alfred Edward McKee in 1998.
Marion was born April 7, 1916 in Arcola Saskatchewan, and moved to BC at a very young age. She was an ‘old time’ Chilliwack resident, having lived here nearly 90 years. Marion was active in the community and worked at Mary Clark Flowers for many years. She was a great mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, and will be missed by her family and all who knew her.
A private family memorial is planned.
