Marilyn Smatlak, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend went home to be with the Lord, November 17, 2012 at the age of 73. She was born May 29, 1939 to Gust and Jess Ulbricht in Milton-Freewater, Oregon.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Ken, of 50 years and three children: Daniel (Darla) of Seattle, Betty Jean Madsen (Gary) of Seattle and Kaylene Senft (Cameron) of Regina; sister Hazel Ham; brothers Elwayne and Wesley Ulbricht. She will also be lovingly remembered by her 10 grandchildren. Marilyn was predeceased by her parents and four siblings.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Norman Causton for his professional and compassionate care as well as the wonderful staff at Cascade Hospice.
A celebration of Marilyn’s life will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 11:00 am at Central Community Church at 46100 Chilliwack Central Rd, Chilliwack, BC. Pastor Ron van Akker officiating.
