Marie Parent (White) was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She left to be with her Lord peacefully on June 22, 2021, at age 88 in Chilliwack, BC.
She was born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia on April 11, 1933. She is survived by her husband, Georges of 67 years and their four girls, Carmen, Coleen, Carol, and Denise.
She was the oldest of 12 children and is survived by her brothers Bill, Martin, Edward, George, and Wilfred. She had ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Marie was an excellent seamstress, she enjoyed curling, golfing, playing bridge, volunteering with the Royal Canadian Legion and most of all she loved to sing and dance with her friends. She also had a passion for anything chocolate. We will miss her so very, very much!!
