Passed away peacefully on September 29, 2006 after 69 beautiful years of life. Born in Cut Knife, Saskatchewan on March 3, 1937. Marie spent her childhood living in both Saskatchewan and Alberta.
Marie was married to George Eaton, June 15, 1957 in B.C. After the birth of their two children, and many moves around the western provinces, they moved their now extended family back to B.C. in 1989. Marie was a very gifted woman who enjoyed playing the piano, writing poetry, painting and most things artistic. She also enjoyed horticulture and made good use of her green thumb. Marie had a strong faith. All who met her never forgot her.
She is survived by husband, George; brother, Dwight (Carlene) Housworth; children, Greg, Carolyn (Buck) Cross; grandchildren, Jason (Comfort) Cross and Jennifer (Dan) Peters, soon-to-be great-grandchild, and numerous nieces, cousins and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Oct. 11, 2006 at 1:00 pm, Southside Place, #7 - 7355 Vedder Rd, Chilliwack.
