Passed away July 14, 2007 with her family by her side. Mel was predeceased by her loving husband Stuart, her son Randy and brothers Julian and Bobby.
She will be sadly missed by her Children Stuart (Bev) of Winnipeg, Jack of Victoria and Darlene (Bud) Ormsby of Coquitlam. She is also survived by her brother Joe (Noreen) of Regina.
She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Darlene, Jack, Richard, Jim, Patrick, Marty, Sabrina, Josh and Ashley, and four great grandchildren.
Mom was a proud life member and past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 4. She was a member of the PPCLI Association. She enjoyed her friends at the Time Out, Chilliwack Better Breathers Club and New Beginnings.
The family would like to express their appreciation for the marvellous care given to mom by Dr. Whetter and Dr. Son and the professional and caring staff of the ICU Chilliwack General Hospital.
The funeral will be held Wednesday July 18, 2007 at 1:00 pm at St. Mary’s Parish, 8909 Mary St., Chilliwack.
