It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Mother, grandmother, sister, aunty, mentor and best friend. She left this world at 3:00 a.m. to be with her mother, Mini Gardner (nee Peters); father, Frank Gardner; brothers, Billy-Walter; husband, Bill and her 4 legged companion, Tiki.
She leaves behind daughter, Thelma (Stan) Hryckiw; son, Tovio; 3 granddaughters: Siobhan, Celia and Cassidy and siblings.
Marie worked with Children’s Hospital for 30 years. She loved her work and all the kids she met. Her former colleagues will remember her for her big heart and beautiful smile. She touched the hearts of many. We will remember her always.
A Wake will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church at Seabird Island on Friday, November 19, 2004 at 7:00 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Saturday, November 20, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. Celebrant, Fr. Gerry Guillet. Interment at Seabird Island.
