Marie Demers passed peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, November 24th, 2009 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She is survived by her son, Tony Demers (Karen), her daughter Georgette Demers (Heather Stark), two grandchildren Thomas and Mitchell Demers, brother Sonny Bryden (Dianne), sister Doreen McDonald, sister Helen Kirby (Paul) and her very best friend in the world, Malonie Tanner.
Marie was born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia on February 17th, 1939 and was predeceased by her Mother and Father Bonnie and Lawrence Bryden.
Marie worked for 45 years in the dental industry, most notably with Dr. Norman Crabtree during the course of his whole career.
A memorial service celebrating Marie’s life will be held Monday, November 30th, 2009 at 1 pm at Sardis Community Church, located at 45625 South Sumas Rd., Chilliwack.
