March 31, 1932 - January 25, 2021
Our loving and amazing mother went to be with the Lord on January 25, 2021 after a brief bout with cancer she was born March 31, 1932 in Bonnyville, Alberta.
She will be sadly missed by her 5 children Therese (Herb) Diebold, Jeanette (Dave) Daly, Germaine (Dan) Eames, George and Phil. 13 grandchildren, 16 great- grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Also survived by her sister Germaine Macphee and many nieces and nephews.
Mom grew up in Maillardville where she met her husband Patrick Lemyre where she raised her family. She lived an adventurous life camping on weekends with her family. She loved to entertain and always had an open house for anyone who needed to talk and have a coffee. Her love for painting and music carried on into her later years. Mom spent the last 10 years in Cascade Manor enjoying a very vibrant life there. She thoroughly enjoyed all the activities they offered. She was a great artist and really enjoyed the paint and craft classes. Thanks to all the staff at Cascade Manor and Hospice for such loving care for our mom.
Private funeral was held January 29, 2021 at St. Mary's Catholic Church.Memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Chilliwack Cascade Hospice.
