Margaret Robertson passed away August 10, 2003 in Chilliwack at the age of 88, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born February 9, 1915 in Bruderheim, Alta., and educated in that province.

She married Clem Stelter in 1939 and they came to B.C. in 1951 and lived in the Lower Mainland before coming to Chilliwack in 1960. They owned Riverside Resort in the 1960s until the death of Clem in 1964.

She lived for a period time on Vancouver Island after marrying her second husband Seymour (Robbie) Robertson. They enjoyed making pottery and travelling together.

Margaret enjoyed her family, taking delight in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed her garden and loved flowers.

Predeceased by her first husband Clem Stelter (1964), and her second husband Seymour Robertson (1991).

Lovingly remembered by her daughter Karen (Wayne) Frank of Chilliwack; son Doug (Carol) Stelter of Maple Ridge; grandsons, Randy (Tracy) Frank of Prince George, and Ryan (Candy) Frank of Terrace; great-grandchildren, Kristen, Ashley, Gillian and Travis; brother Ren Frederking of California; sisters, Charlotte Hill of Chilliwack, Eleanor (George) Schlosser of Calgary, Alta., and Dorothy Wedder of Victoria; niece Alice Stein of Chilliwack; as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.

We would like to thank Dr. K. Ho for his care of Margaret, and a special thank you to the caring staff of The Waverly, her home for the past two-and-one-half months.

Should family and friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
