Peggy was born in London, England and spent 25 very happy years working as a supervisor for Thame’s Television, where she took early retirement in 1981 to come to Canada to join her family.
She was predeceased by both her parents; her husband Alf; sister Joan; and dearest brother-in-law George Tobias.
Peggy leaves behind to mourn with broken hearts, her daughter Susan and precious son-in-law Reg Hunter; the two loves of her life, her granddaughter Kimberly (Scott) Tipton and grandson Marc Hunter and partner Lisa. Also her dear sister Eileen Tobias and brother Dicky (Rene) in England. ‘’ Mimi’’ and Nan will be deeply missed by her beloved great-grandchildren, Dominique, Devan, Dallas, and Darby Tipton, also Mac, Zack, and Lexi, her ‘’special’’ little people.
She will be missed deeply by numerous family and friends in England, also thanks to her friend Molly for caring.
A special thank you to Dean and Darren and all nurses on 4th Floor for their care, also to the Home Care nurses and Home Support staff.
In Celebration of Peggy’s Life, a barbecue will be held at the family home at 3842 Karen Dr., Cultus Lake, on Sunday, June 8 at 4 p.m. Friends and family are very welcome.
At Peggy’s request no flowers or funeral, but if family or friends so desire, donations can be made to the charity of their choice.
