It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Mitchell. She passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Chilliwack, BC at the age of 92 years.
Margaret will be dearly remembered and sadly missed by her daughters, Sharon (Gary), Sandy, Colleen (Harry) and Wendy (Dale); 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She will also be remembered by her sisters, Dora Gillis of Winnipeg and Jacine (Ron) Hansen of Surrey; her brother, Frank of Aldergrove and sister in law Betty of Loon Lake, SK and their families. Margaret was sadly predeceased by her husband and best friend George in 2004, a granddaughter in 1969, one sister and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, February 19, 2010 from the Chapel of Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave Chilliwack; Major Angus Haggarty officiating. Interment in Chilliwack Cemetery on Little Mountain.
Special thanks to all the loving staff at the Cascade Manor and Lodge where Margaret resided for the last four years.
