Margaret Julia Griffin, late of Chilliwack, formerly of Halifax, passed away May 5, 2007 at Chilliwack General Hospital, age 57.
She was born in Halifax on August 10, 1949. She came to Chilliwack in 1959, where she enjoyed walks in the area. She also enjoyed the camaraderie and friendship’s she had at “The Clubhouse” on Main Street.
In 1975, Margaret had her daughter Lan-gay and was a devoted, stay-at-home mom.
A private graveside memorial will be held on Friday, May 11, 2007.
A memorial tea will be held at a later date.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Lan-gay Griffin, mother Julia Griffin, her brothers Arthur, Angus, and sister Daphne.
Predeceased by her father Arthur Kent.
