Margaret Elizabeth passed away peacefully in the presence of her Lord and saviour on July 3rd, 2005 in Chilliwack Hospital at the age of 82 years. Margaret was born July 31st, 1922 in New Brunswick. She is predeceased by her first husband Tom of 50 years and her second husband Ed of 2 years, grandson Kelly, 2 brothers Cosmas and Frank and sister Mary.
Margaret will be lovingly missed by her 2 sons Rod (Cindy) and Jim. Sisters Nora, Mona, Marie and Inez. Brothers Donny, Eddie, Emmett, Dan and John. Step children Yvonne, Joe, Del, Ted, Marlene, Darlene and Marina and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family.
Margaret was known affectionately to everyone as mom. she was a beautiful courageous lady who made a career out of building strong bonds with family and friends. Our mother touched the hearts of everyone she encountered and she will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mom lived life to the fullest, she stayed active in her church, played bingo and bowled once a week. Her greatest love and devotion was to her family who she committed herself to completely, teaching us the importance of unconditional love.
Prayers were held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Thursday July 7, 2005. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM Friday July 8th, 2005 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church 8909 Mary St. Chilliwack. Fr. Gary Gordon celebrant.
