It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, Bette on August 3, 2012, at the age of 98 years.
Bette is survived by her two daughters: Betty (Doug) Hallman and Shannon Trevor-Smith; grandchildren: Vicki Schmeisser, Gordon Hallman, Tannis Bottomley Haizley and Rob Trevor-Smith; greatgrandchildren: Ashley, Lee, Graysann, Sydney, Trevor, Kristen, Brody, and Riley. Predeceased by her husband Victor Grayson Gammer.
Bette will be forever remembered for many things including her devotion to her family, her commitment to her friends, her work in the church at St. Faith’s, Vancouver and St. Thomas and St. John’s, Chilliwack; and her involvement in many organizations Altrusa, Order of Job’s Daughters, Boy’s Club in Vancouver, Home Bound Handicap Boutique, Chilliwack and Literacy of Canada.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 22, 2102 at 11:00am at St. John’s Anglican Church, 46098 Higginson Road, Sardis.
