Margaret was born at Yorkton, Saskatchewan on April 15th 1924. She graduated as an RN from the Yorkton Hospital, winning the Surgical Nurses Award. In 1948 she moved to Chilliwack and worked at the CGH as a nurse until a back operation side lined her to other medical duties. She was always a volunteer in many organizations in the community, such as Chilliwack Branch of the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association, which she was a founding member and for many years she was the President. She was also involved in Bereavement Counselling, Alanon, CVLS (#4 Legion), FSNA, Heart & Stroke Club, President of TOPS, among many other things.

She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Edna Guy, first husband Peter Brown and her son Douglas, grandson’s Jason Lafleur and Cody Brocklehurst. She is survived by her husband Bruce Davis and three daughters Joy Fairclough, Mavis (Verne) Malanchuk and Shelley Brocklehurst, as well as their children, (Joy) David, Farah, Chelsea, (Mavis) Heidi, Desiree, Taylor, (Shelley) Sarah and numerous great and great, great-grandchildren. She was called MOM by many others whom she treated as her own children.

In lieu of flowers it is asked that a donation be made to the Chilliwack Branch of the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association (Bursary Fund) or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

She will be sorely missed by all.
