October 25, 1933 - June 18, 2022
Margaret Corbett of Victoria BC was Promoted to Glory on Saturday June 18th, 2022. She was born October 25th, 1933, in an outpost of Porcupine Plains, (Carragana) Saskatchewan to William and Fanny Wright who had recently immigrated from Scotland.
Margaret moved to Chilliwack in 1944. She married Fred Smith in 1959 and gave us two wonderful children, Cathy & Brad.
Besides her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her husband of 19 years Bill Corbett, Brothers James, Robert, Anthony, and Sisters Fanny, Isa, Evelyn, and stepson in-law Graham.
Margaret will be dearly missed by her daughter Cathy (Les) and son Brad (Lori), stepdaughters Sandra (Angus), Darlene, Marlene (Brian) and stepson Larry (Bev) and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A celebration of life for Margaret was held Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Henderson's Funeral Home, 45901 Victoria Ave, Chilliwack, BC V2P2S9.
