Mabel Elizabeth Lawlor passed away peacefully at home on May 5, 2006 surrounded by her loving family. Mable was born in Southbank, Cleveland, England on December 3, 1923. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and we shall miss her immensely.
Predeceased by her husband James Lawlor and her son Jimmy Lawlor, Mabel is survived by her son, Torolf (Doreen); daughters, Catherine (Ian), Ellen, Frances (Kevin) and Jackie; grandsons Daniel and Graeme and granddaughters Kirsty and Sarah.
Prayers will be held on Wednesday, May 10th at 6:00pm at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2006 at 10:00 am also at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
If family and friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Chilliwack Hospital Foundation directed to Palliative Care. The family wishes to thank Dr. Quentin Smith and Dr. Christo Wiggins and the Fraser Valley Home Support Nurses for their compassion and support through this difficult time.
