(Dec. 17, 1959 - May 16, 2009)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lynn Ann McDevitt on May 16, 2009. Lynn was born in Vancouver, December 17, 1959 and grew up in Cultus Lake.
Lynn was predeceased by her loving parents Gilbert and Hilda Donaldson; brother Jim; and brother-in-law Fred Bolko.
Lynn will be lovingly missed by family and friends. Lynn is survived by her sister and best friend Sandy Bolko; brother, Ian and sister-in-law Laurie (Jim) Donaldson; nephews: Jay, Shaun and Darren (Bolko), Jake and Brandon Donaldson and niece Shannon Donaldson; great-niece Allyssa; great-nephews: Ethan, Brayden, Kian and Kieffer. Lynn is also survived by her loving extended family Esther and Lorne Davies and their family Angela (Jeff), Cindy (Reid) and Greg along with their children; Rebecca, Madison, Kaitlyn, Bethany, Caris, Phoebe and Tyler. Jackie Clamp-Watson who was a wonderful friend and second sister to Lynn and very special friend Judy Kouwenhoven.
Lynn was a very special person who loved life, her family and friends. All visitors to ECU at Chilliwack Hospital were greeted by Lynn from her special corner by the elevator. Special thanks to Dr. Enns and all the staff on ECU for the wonderful care Lynn received over her time in ECU. All who met her fell in love with her. There was never a doubt she loved us all completely.
Lynn, until we meet again, you will be in our hearts forever.
A tea was held at 11:00 am Wednesday May 27, 2009 at the Extended Care Unit (Bradley Centre) Chilliwack General Hospital.
