Lyla Eileen Georgeson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lyla Eileen Georgeson on October 14, 2019. She passed away peacefully in her 91st year. Lyla is survived by Walter, with whom she shared a wonderful love and a 73 year marriage. Lyla was predeceased by her only daughter Brenda. She was a loving grandmother to Vicki, Jesse (Jolene) and Joshua (Rebekah).
She will be deeply missed by her great-grandchildren Brandon, Brianna, Jordan, Lucas, Phoebe, Joshua and Eden.
She will also be missed dearly by many extended family, especially her niece Bonne (Ross) and grandnieces Heather and Amanda, to whom Lyla was like a second mom and grandma.
The family would like to thank Jake for his support of grampa in the past month, and the amazing staff and volunteers at Cascades Hospice for their comfort and care of Lyla.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Vedder Golden Legion, 5661 Vedder Rd, Sardis on October 20th at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 280.
