Lydia Penner late of Chilliwack, BC, passed away peacefully on July 19th after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on Nov. 5, 1935 in Burwalde, Ukraine.
Funeral Services will be held on July 26th at 10:00 am at Henderson’s Funeral Home. Interment at Vedder View Gardens.
Lydia will be lovingly remembered by her children: Elaine (Glen) Barrett, Linda Garayt, Brenda (Rick) Hermann, Wayne (Julie) Penner, nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Lydia was predeceased by her loving husband Dave after 45 wonderful years of marriage.
The family would like to thank Dr. David Fitzpatrick and the 4th floor nurses at the Chilliwack hospital for the excellent care they provided.
