Loyd was born in Enderby, BC on November 8, 1930. He made his home in Chilliwack from 1955 until his passing on May 30, 2011. Loyd’s long life was happy and satisfying. He was much loved and will be sadly missed by his wife Doreen, son Erik; daughter and son-in-law Leanne and Michael McDermid; grandchildren Melissa and Cole McDermid.
