HARDER; Louise (Strauss)
A longtime resident of Chilliwack, passed away Wednesday the 23rd of November at Valley Haven Retirement Home. She was born December 7, 1925 in Nikolaifeld, Russia. Louise, husband Henry and son Herb immigrated to Canada on October 25, 1951. Settled in Chilliwack, joining both her and Henry’s parents, and then in 1956 gave birth to their second son Wally. Louise has been an inspiration and guardian angel for family, friends and those she had taken under her wing. She will always be remembered for her kindness, selflessness, laughter and her smile that lit up the room. She was a hard worker, an amazing caring mother, whose cooking will always be a wonderful memory. Louise is survived by her loving husband; Henry Harder, eldest son Herb, youngest son Wally and his wife Clara. Memorial donations: Canadian Diabetes Society
