On Wednesday, July 4, 2018, Lorraine Martens, wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away at the age of 78 years surrounded by her family at Chilliwack General Hospital after a short but courageous fight with cancer.
Lorraine is survived and will be forever remembered and loved by her husband Wayne, her children Bruce (Linda) Martens, Christine (Brad Henry) Cookson, Donald (Sharon) Martens, Alan (Patricia) Martens, Stephen (Desiree) Martens; grandchildren Jake, Nicole, Haley, Robyn, Brad, Mia, Keifer, Abby, Zoey, Emily, Brett, Taylor, Sage, Jonas, Aja, and Nova.
Lorraine will also be forever remembered by her brother Johnny, her sister Barbara and all her nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends - all of whom had the pleasure of knowing her. Lorraine was predeceased by her father Laurence, her mother Anne, and sister Janet. The Martens' family would like to thank the staff at CGH for the care and attention that Lorraine received while she was there.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 3, 2018, from 1 - 5 PM, at The Coast Chilliwack Hotel in the Rosedale Room.
