July 18, 1934 - December 27, 2018
Sadly we announce the passing of Faye Lorraine Lock at Chilliwack General Hospital on December 27th after a lengthy illness.
Lorraine was the third child of Alex and Edith Jess. The family moved from Vancouver when Lorraine was 2 and lived on a dairy farm on McDonald Road.
Lorraine lived and worked in several communities in BC before re-settling in Chilliwack, and spent many years working in the medical field.
She was predeceased by her parents, sister Beverley, brother Ross, and husband Jack. She is survived by her sister Verna Hansen and numerous nieces and nephews, as well as very faithful family friend Doug Jackson, to whom we owe much gratitude.
Our thanks to Dr. Markey for his care of Lorraine over the years, and to the nurses of 4th Floor North for their respect and care of Lorraine in her final days.
There will be no service as per Lorraine's wishes. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your favorite charity.
