Lorraine Friesen passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at Chilliwack General Hospital at age 79 years. She was born February 15, 1926 at St. Paul’s Hospital, Vancouver, BC. Lorraine is survived by her spouse, Victor; sisters, Muriel (Bill) Fry and Dorrene Booker; nieces, Beverly Fischer, Margeret LeBeau; Linda (Terry) Newman, Wendy (Bill) Naughty and Donna Fraser; 7 great nephews and 4 great nieces; 4 great great nephews and 8 great great nieces. She was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Jean Booker; her husband Leonard, brother in law Garnet LeBeau and nephew, Brian LeBeau.
I would like to thank the operating team of Dr. Shoof, Dr. Lavin, J. Hall (FPR), J. Jansen (RN), L. Wood (RN), C. Haberfellner (RN), T. Perkins (RN), for their efforts on the evening of January 4, also the ICU team of Jan. 8ththrough 10th. My thanks personally, to Dr. Tingey, Dr. Mackenzie, Dr. S. Nisbett, Dr. W. Son, Dr. N. Tan and all the other medical staff who were so good to Lorraine during her short illness.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday January 14th, 2006 at 1:30 pm from Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave. Rev. Sawchuk officiating. Eulogy to be given by Mr. Terry Newman. Pall Bearers, Brent LeBeau, Jayson LeBeau, Craig LeBeau, David Hilton, Mark Fischer, Scott Naughty and Carson Fraser. Interment at Chilliwack Cemetery.
