Lori Ross was born Bertha Amanda Meyers on May 27, 1915 in Claybank, Saskatchewan and has resided in Chilliwack since the late 1940’s. She died peacefully on February 18, 2010 at age 94. She is predeceased by her father and mother, Samuel and Mary Anne Meyers and by her brother Leo Meyers and sister Agnes Schweich.

Lovingly remembered and sadly missed, Lori Ross is survived by her dearest sister Mary Hoyer; and by her 4 children Wayne Ross, Gordon (Trish) Ross, Kathy Fiddes, Charlotte Bjornson and predeceased by her son David (Elvina) Gairdner; her 10 grandchildren Caroline Ross, Jordan (Michelle) Ross, Chris (Cori) Fiddes, Scott Fiddes, Holly (Mauro) Fiddes, Raymond, Mark and Aaron Gairdner and predeceased by Saul Ross and Neil Fiddes; her 7 great-grandchildren Kiara James, Adora Ross, Brian, Camille and Eric Fiddes, Nathan Gairdner, Ignacio Ramirez-Fiddes; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Lori loved music, dancing, travelling, photography, reading and nature. Her warm heartedness, caring and loving ways will be greatly missed.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation and grateful thanks to the staff at the Heritage Village in Chilliwack for all the special care given to Lori.

A funeral service will be held at St Mary’s Catholic Church, 8909 Mary Street, Chilliwack, B.C. on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. There will be a Tea following the burial service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
