Linda Schepanowsky (nee Schoen), of Chilliwack, BC, passed away October 13, 2015, at the age of 92. She was born September 25, 1923, in Ukraine and has lived in the Chilliwack area for approximately 73 years. Linda was predeceased by her husband, Johann in 2001. Linda's interests included most importantly, her family, cooking (which she was noted for) canning, sewing, crocheting and gardening. Linda will be remembered as a good wife, loving mother, grandmother (Oma), great grandmother, great great grandmother and good friend to many. Linda leaves to mourn, three children, Erika (Dick) Harders, of Prince George, Ernie (Pat) Schepanowsky, of Chilliwack and Edel (Bruce) Klassen of Chilliwack, grandchildren: Wendy (Scott), Crystal (Dave), Richard, Brian, Dave, Roy, Tanya (Brian) and Debra (Dave), Mat, Heather (Lee): great grandchildren, A.J.(Taylor), Rickie, Stephanie, Emily, Alexandria, Alex, Andrew, Morgan, Dani, Bailey, Riley, Damon; one great-great grandchild Anastasia. Oma will be missed by all. Thanks to everyone at Eden Rest Home for taking care of Oma these past few years. Service was held on Monday, October 19 at Christ Lutheran Church in Chilliwack.
