It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Lilly Koehn, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Lilly was born June 29,1937 in Beausejour, Manitoba and later moved to Chilliwack, BC where she spent her adult life. It was there that Lilly lovingly raised 4 children with her husband Hank.
Lilly will be sadly missed and always remembered by her children, Sherri (Dave), Alan (Debbie), Laura (Clint), and Patrick (Shelley); her grandchildren, Erin (Dan), Travis (Sarah), Darrell (Cynthia), Drew (Michelle), Jamie (Katie), Gillian, Shannon (Anthony), and Shane; and her great-grandchildren, Natalie, Adam, Quinn, and Claire.
Lilly was predeceased by Hank, her loving husband of 63 years, her parents Michael and Luise, brothers Harold and Werner, sister Rena, and granddaughter Charmaine.
Lilly loved to paint and to garden, but what brought her the most joy were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A special thank you to the caring staff at Heritage Village Care Home where Lilly lived for the past 5 years.
There will be a gathering for close family to celebrate Lilly's life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lilly's memory to the Parkinson's Foundation or The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
