Lillian Sjogren passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 8 2018 in Chilliwack BC at the age of 93.
Mom is survived by Gary (Denise) Sjogren, Vern (Lynne) Sjogren and Anita (Jim) Switzer and also her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. As well as her extended family Rick (Paulette) Moore and Children. She was pre deceased by her son Dale Sjogren in 1972 and her companion Doug Moore in 2008.
Mom loved her job as a teacher of 40 years. She spent the last 20 years of her career at Sardis Elementary School where she made many lasting friendships with Students, families and staff. She spent the past 9 years living at Hampton House in Chilliwack and loved every minute of it. She made many special friends and memories and most of all a special connection with Tracey McDonald who was very important to her. In moms final days her good friend Lorelle from Australia travelled many miles to be at her side.
Mom will be dearly missed by her family, many friends and students. Raise a glass of red wine in her honour. Cheers Mom!
An open house Celebration of Life will be Held at The Slesse Room at Evergreen Hall from 1-4 pm on Saturday September 15 , 2018 .
