Always In Your Heart

Hush now, please don't cry,

There comes a time when we all die,

Just take a heed now that I'm at peace,

And from my pain I have release.

I will always be watching over you,

Our love will always be held true,

Don't you weep now, don't you mourn,

For my heart will then be torn.

Just remember the good times we shared

Knowing that we always cared,

I've not gone away, we'll never part,

As I will always be in your heart.

After 6 years in the Army, throughout WWII, serving in the U.K., France, Holland, Belgium and Germany, Leslie spent 3 years as a driver for Vancouver Island Coach Lines before signing on with BC's Motor Vehicle Branch. His provincial government service totalled 30 years at retirement, of which several years were spent introducing ICBC policies to Fraser Valley insurance companies. Nearly a decade was spent in Victoria, Lesley's hometown, some time in North Vancouver as office manager, 2-3 years in Abbotsford, with the final period in Cloverdale as an Administrative Officer before retiring. Lesley is survived by his wife of 34 years, Hellen, his son David, step daughter Cheryl, 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Lesley and Hellen were avid fans of country & western music, and had travelled all over North America, visiting Nashville, Branson, Missouri, the Grand Canyon, Carlsbad Caverns and New Mexico. Aside from extensive traveling, Lesley enjoyed golf. There will be no service by request.
