Les passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by close family and friends. He was born January 2, 1945 in New Castle, NSW Australia.
He was an officer in the Australian Air Force, and also during his career flew for several different companies. Life was an adventure for him and he always had a tale of daring do.
Cancer struck in 2001 and he fought it bravely for four and one half years.
He was predeceased by his father and brother.
He’ll be sadly missed by his wife Kathy; daughters, Anna (Tim), grandchildren, Hannah, Chloe, and Gabriel, Meghan (Matt), and stepchildren, Tiffany (Patrick), grandchildren, Julien and Kameron; and many, many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Upper Valley Aviation, Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005 at 1 p.m., 8406 Lockheed Place - off Airport Rd.
