Leonard passed away on February 16, 2021 at Cascade Care Manor in Chilliwack, BC at age 92 years.
He was born May 8, 1928 in Bella Coola, BC.
Leonard is survived by his loving wife Marlene of 67 years of marriage. His 3 children, Darrell (Jacquie), Colleen (Bruce), Cheryl (Gary). His 8 grandchildren, Alan, Melanie, Chad, Jordan, Tiffany, Alexander, Shane and Lisa. His 8 great grandchildren, Kaycee, Nevaeh, Everlee, Lyllie, Conner, Ainsleigh, Garrett, Cobi-Lynn and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son Wayne in 1997. His 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Len and Marlene started their married life in Bella Coola, BC. Len worked his whole life in the logging industry. He worked and lived as far away as the Queen Charlotte Islands, Victoria, The Sunshine Coast and finally settling down in Chilliwack, BC.
During his retirement years he became an avid fisherman and was known for his lure making and selling them at the On The Way Store.
The family would like to thank the many caring nurses and staff during his time he spent at Cascade Care Home and all his caregivers while they still resided in their home.
