Leonard Gladstone, 77, of Nooksack Tribe/Shxwha:y Band passed away Monday, May 5, 2008. Leonard was born February 22, 1931 in Chilliwack, B.C. to Rose “Emmy” James & Joseph Gladstone.
He is survived by his wife Jessie, and children: Brian Gladstone, (Julia), Clyf “Boo” Gladstone, Deborah Alexander, Margretty Rabang (Bobby), Cheryl Trainor, Bonnie Russell (Neil), Robert Gladstone, and Richard Gladstone (Lillian).
He was preceded in death by children: Martin and Baby Girl Gladstone. Leonard had 36 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
Leonard’s favorite things to do included going to Starbucks, GAMBLING, fishing, following his family on the canoe circuit and pow wow trail.
Services will be held Friday, May 9, 2008, at 7 pm, and Saturday, May 10, 2008, at 1 pm at Nooksack Community Center 6746 Mission Road, Everson, WA.
There will be no grave side services.
