Leonard (Len) Joseph Benteau
May 31, 1932 - February 12, 2017
Passed away after a long battle with cancer, surrounded by his family at Cascade Hospice in Chilliwack. His life began in Lord's Cove, Newfoundland where he lived with his eight siblings. He is survived by his sisters Lucy Hodge, Louise Lyall (Ralph), Mary Hickman & Susan Fitzpatrick (Martin). He will be sadly missed by his wife, Donna of 51 years, his children Calvin (Amy), Tracey, Sandy (Sean) and his beloved grandchildren, Lindy (Ryan), Bradley, Curtis, Alyssa, Amber, John, Karissa, Jordyn, Sasha and Matthew and his great grand children Shayne and Nathaniel. The most important thing to Len was his family. He loved visits from his children and grandchildren and was always there to support and help them in any way possible. However the most significant person in his life was his wife, Donna (Mom). Their relationship was a testament to how much love can be present between two people after so many years.
