Leona Marianne Sinal passed away peacefully on September 7, 2008 at the Chilliwack General Hospital.
Mom was a very independent spirit. She watched the world around her and made up wonderful stories about it. She liked to travel and know about new things. She communicated her thoughts clearly to the end.
Her husband, Jack and brothers Jack and Wally Dowdle predeceased her. After a good life of 93 years, she is lovingly remembered by her daughter Glenda (Al) Zilke, Chilliwack, son Gary Sinal, Mission; granddaughters, Karen (Rich) Nasadyk, White Rock, Leah Sinal, Laural (Patrice) Gagnon, Quebec City; grandson, Eric Zilke, Agassiz; great-grandchildren, Tyler Edwards, Jake and Caleb Nasadyk, Alex Smith, Felix and Frances Gagnon. She is also survived by her sister in law Edna Dowdle, Mission, her niece Diane (Phil) Burke, Abbotsford,
“Gone to be with Jack.”
