Lea-Ann Russell (nee Dixon)
After a 10-year long illness Lea-Ann, at the age of 64, passed away September 18th in Red Deer Hospice with dignity, grace, and knowing the full measure of the love of her family and friends.
Survived by her loving sons, Clint Russell (Patti), Cory Russell (Tara), and 6 precious grandchildren, also from Alberta.
Predeceased by her Brother Mike (1985), Father (Ed 1985), Mother (Ruth 1993), and Mike's son (Bill 2015).
Survived by her Sisters, Pat (Bob) Zimmer, Mary Ellen (Charlie) Beamin, Deb (Mic) Dunsmore, and their families. Sister-in-law Sue Dixon and family.
Lea had a variety of work experience in her life including a successful career managing an Optometry Practice in Lacombe, Alberta.
All her family are deeply thankful and appreciative of her many caregivers over the years, and her end of life compassionate care at Red Deer Hospice.
A Celebration of Life will be held next Spring or Summer as per her request.
