Leah passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Cascade Lodge at the age of 91 years. She was born May 28, 1928 in Amherst, Nova Scotia. Leah is survived by her husband of 63 years, Levi, 2 sons, Paul, Lindsay and family, niece Carrie-Ann Lillies (Shane). Predeceased by 3 sisters, Katie Scott, Joan Ward, Mary Sorge, nephew Phillip Sorge, and daughter Mary Lyn Walker.
Leah loved to play cards and games, and her hobbies were golf and curling. She will be remembered for her sense of humour, love of music and her hours of volunteering at the Seniors Community Centre. Leah enjoyed her years living at Hampton House and a special thank-you to the staff at Cascade Lodge for the care she received. There will be no service.
