Laura Jarvinen passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at the Bradley Centre at age 81 years. She was born May 4, 1925 in Finland. Laura is survived by her husband Reino Jarvinen; daughters Anitta Wemyss, Aila Sharp and Aliisa montreuil; son Mauno Jarvinen and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her son Kalevi Jarvinen.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home. Pall bearers were grandsons David Jarvinen, Orion Wemyss, Ian Wemyss, Tristan Sharp, Jeremy Ross and Ryan Steeves.
The family wishes to express their most heartfelt thanks to Dr. Ken Hirst and the nursing staff of the Bradley Centre for the care given to our wife, mother, grandmother over the past years.
