Lannie John Erskine

Lannie John Erskine, 74, passed away on August 6, 2019, after many years fighting COPD. He died peacefully with family and friends by his side at Cascade Hospice in Chilliwack.
Lannie was pre-deceased by his wife Heather, and parents Allen and Veronica Erskine. Lannie leaves to lovingly remember him, spouse Sharry, sister Vivian (Rick), children, Victoria (Matthew), Bradley (Jennifer), Edward (Cheri), Eileen, Chris, Shaun, 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and many friends.
Lannie started his career in construction alongside his father in the family business, Erskine Forms, and stayed in the industry until his retirement.
Like his father Allen, he had a passion for fishing and taught all six of his children, and many others who wanted to try, how to fish.
He was a social butterfly and would meet everyone he could. His children always said; you could not go anywhere he was not known and greeted warmly. Lannie left his family and friends with many happy memories to cherish.
He has now "gone fishing". A gathering will take place at 11 am on September 6, 2019, at Hazelwood Cemetery, 34070 Hazelwood Avenue, Abbotsford, followed by a celebration of life.
