Lammerdina “Dena” Nutkins passed away in Chilliwack on July 7, 2004 at the age of 89 years. She was born in Monarch, Alta. on August 15, 1915.
Dena is survived by her two children, Ed (Carol) Nutkins of Calgary and Pat Bradley of Chilliwack, seven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one brother, Herman Nyhoff of Lynden, Washington and one sister, Alice Little of Lethbridge, Alta.
She is predeceased by her husband, Charles, in 1980.
Dena loved crocheting and playing the piano. She worked at the Bow Valley Hospital in Calgary for a number of years before her and Charles retired to Chilliwack.
A Service of Remembrance will be in the Chapel of Henderson’s on Saturday, July 10, 2004 at 11 am with Rev. Angus Haggarty officiating.
