Kevin passed away peacefully on October 3, 2005 in Prince George Regional Hospital. Born May 4, 1933 in Vancouver, he moved to Chilliwack as an infant and grew up on the family farm in Greendale.
His whole working career was in forestry; logging on Vancouver Island then working in pulp mills in Ocean Falls, Prince Rupert and Prince George, the latter being where he resided the last 39 years and where he retired in 1997.
In retirement, he enjoyed vacations to Mexico, Hawaii, California, and motorhome travel to Inuvik, Alberta and B.C. Mechanically inclined, his hobby was collecting and fixing classic cars.
Predeceased by brother Walter in 1966; father Francis in 1978; and mother Mary in 1994.
He is survived by his brother Brian (Hazel) Elliott of Chilliwack; sister Doreen (David) Latimer of Chilliwack; children, Chrissy Reeves of Agassiz, Candie MacCauley of Abbotsford, and Mike (Leona) Elliott of Prince George; and grandchildren, Jamie, Adrienne, Dannielle, Jon-Marc, Brea, and Crystal.
A graveside service was followed with burial at Prince George Municipal Cemetery on October 5, 2005.
The family will miss his great sense of humour. Thank you to the staff at Prince George Regional Hospital for making his last days comfortable. Dad, we will miss you always.
