1966-2012
With heavy hearts and rivers of tears we said goodbye to a terrific father, husband and son.
Kevin Dwayne Lakusta, was relieved of his earthly strife and duty for his family. On Sunday June 24, 2012 Kevin went to be with his Lord and Saviour, where his Heavenly Father prepared a place for him.
Kevin leaves cherished memories for his chosen and beloved wife, Maryann, whom he loved and adored more than words can say. Kevin’s children: Elijah John, Gabrielle Marie, Abigail Rosalie and Kevin Dwayne Jr. were eternally nurtured and loved by their father Kevin who shared stories and gave his all, in a wholesome moral life coaching for each one. He provided fun recreation and spiritual guidance equally to all of his children.
Kevin was a remarkable, kind and loving son to John and Hilda Lakusta who grieve his death with unexplainable words. Kevin’s sister, Charlotte Lee (Gord) Engstrom from Costa Rica who was a constant support to Kevin while he was growing up in Surrey, BC. Kevin’s brother Kenneth John, Langley, BC is overcome with heartfelt sadness. Aunts and uncles as well as many cousins will remember him fondly.
Kevin’s passion for wood working developed into,
“Precision Log Works. “ His work is seen throughout Chilliwack, and worldwide.
A Service of Celebration for Kevin will be held on Friday, June 29, 10:00 am at Christ Lutheran Church, 9460 Charles St. Chilliwack, BC, Pastor Dean Anderson officiating.
Remembrance: in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Blood Service and any blood donations would be encouraged as regular blood donation was a passion of Kevin’s.
