July 3, 1954 - June 26, 2020
My beloved partner and soulmate of 38.5 years took his last breath, at home, as a planned at home death. Kent was an amazing person, and he endured the insults from colon cancer and related complications, in such an incredible manner.
Survived by husband, Morrie Steele, son Kris (Audrey) daughter Jenni (Bradley), brother Harvie (Patty), sister Susan (Bob), Mike Steele (Luisa & Lukas), sister in law Marlene (Herb) and extended family in England.
Kent was loved by everyone whose heart he touched, with a wonderful sense of humor and the ability to make the best out of the worst.
He will be missed by all the friends we made on Whidbey Island over a 30 year span, friends at the various campsites where we RV'd and many friends from our winters in Palms Springs.
Thank you to Dr. Ken Hirst, Dr. Richard Schwarz, palliative community nurses Lisa, Lara and Kate, and a debt of gratitude to Laurel Wichmann.
Rest in peace, love of my life.
A small celebration of life will be held during August.
