Ken Tonn passed away unexpectedly Thursday, August 3, 2006 at Surrey Memorial Hospital. He has left this earth to be with his beloved wife Helga, whom he missed so dearly. Ken was born December 11, 1940 in Plumas, Manitoba. He moved to Chilliwack with his parents and seven siblings in 1954. He spent most of his career in the food processing industry at York Farms, then East Chilliwack Co-op Pacific Fruit Concentrates, and finally YHS Beverages Canada Inc.

Ken was involved in the community as a Chilliwack Guernsey-Jersey 4-H Club Leader, as a 6th Chilliwack Scout Leader, and he served as a Deacon at Christ Lutheran Church. He enjoyed hobby farming, woodworking, and the country lifestyle. Ken retired in 1999 to pursue travelling and fishing.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children Patricia and Leonard (Dawn) and boys Christopher and Stephen, as well as many extended family members, and good friends.

Memorial service to be held Thursday, August 17, 2006 at 2:00 pm at Christ Lutheran Church, Chilliwack. The family invites you for fellowship after the service.
