Kenneth Elbert PRICE

Kenneth Elbert Price, born in Bowden, Alta. on July 17, 1934, passed away peacefully at Chilliwack General Hospital on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2003.

He is survived by his wife Esther; his daughters, Linda (Fred) Love, and Joanne (Larry) Feuer; and stepchildren, Cathy Donnelly, Wendy (Bruce) Froese, Mark (Laura) Craven, and Heather (Bob) Smith; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother Larry (Jean) Price; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Faye in 1992; his brother Fred Price in 1992; his father William Price in 1995; and his mother Jessie Price in 1999.

Ken spent 20 years with the Armed Forces and 16 years with the Federal Public Service. He recently worked with Cartmell Insurance and Good Holiday Travel. Some of his interests included Kiwanis, Good Sam, Vintage Car Club, Promise Keepers, and the Salvation Army, where he coordinated the Christmas Kettle Campaign for many years.

A Celebration of Life and memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003 at 1 p.m. at the Chilliwack Alliance Church with Major Don Law officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army, or a charity of your choice.
